Do I even need to write a synopsis for an Indiana Jones movie? Just for those who actually care this movie is set in the cold war era and follows Indiana Jones as he searches for the mystical crystal skull. Along the way he meets some new friends, old friends and of course new enemies.
Who is the Audience for This Movie?
This movie is for people who like movies where you turn your brain off and just go along for the ride.
What I Liked About This Movie
I am going keep this one short because to put it simply I found this movie flat out fun and was a great choice to go see in the theatre. The action was classic Indy; very corny and highly unrealistic.

I didn’t hate Shia Lewbouf’s character Mutt Williams even though I had very bad vibes going into this movie after seeing him in transformers. He played off of Indy very well and allowed Spielberg to make the interactions between Indy and Mutt feel very much like a reversal of the interactions between Indy & his father in The Last Crusade.
What Didn’t Work For Me
Some aspects of the story are not particularly good and dialogue is weak in parts. Not a huge deal breaker for me when a movie still manages to entertain me.
What were Lucas and Spielberg thinking when they added the scene with Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf) and monkeys? I am not going to spoil anything but wow when it happens it feels very out of place.
Should You Watch This Movie?
Oh most definitely. I love the Indiana Jones movies (Temple of Doom being my favourite) and this movie follows the same story structure that worked so well in the original trilogy.
