Who is the Audience for This Movie?
Iron Man is perfect for anyone who likes big blockbuster movies.
What I Liked About This Movie
Iron Man is the type of movie I expected Transformers to be, let me explain that statement. When I go see an action spectacle in theatres I immediately expect three things: great action, a good lead actor and dialogue that is very average. If those criteria are met then I know the movie will at the very least be entertaining.

Iron Man has all of those qualities in abundance. Robert Downey Jr. surprised me in his role in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and one ups him self by making the viewer feel as though he was born to play Iron Man. His regular mannerisms fit perfectly with the character and his dialogue delivery is spot on.
What about the action? The action is nice. Scenes are not quick cut too often and make Iron Man look really bad ass. The bad guy that every superhero movie needs is a very realistic choice and leads to a sweet confrontation.
What Didn’t Work For Me
Every superhero movie must do the origin story of the character to start the movie. In most cases it is usually the biggest drawback of superhero movies because it has to be handled with care if the film is going to start a franchise.
Iron Mans origin setup is solid but I felt it was too long. It was the only point in the movie that dragged on and after it was over Iron Man really moved at a the perfect pace until the credits rolled.
Should You Watch This Movie?
I went in with 0 expectations and came out pleasantly surprised at how well Iron Man delivered the perfect movie theatre experience. Make sure you wait till after the credits are over for a high profile surprise cameo.
