What I Liked About This Movie

I like playing pool and to see a movie about pool that is genuinely entertaining is an immediate approval in my book. All of the scenes where people were playing pool were shot and edited very well. You could tell their was a lot of care put into them to be as authentic as possible, rightfully so considering some of the actors play pool professionally.

Christopher Walken is hilarious in this movie. It was obviously not intentional but when Christopher Walken plays a role in his stereotyped acting style you cannot help but be entertained by it.

What Didn’t Work For Me

Danny’s friends were kind of dumb and not really as funny as I think the writer thought they would be when he was writing their dialogue. The actor who plays Johnny looks/acts so much like Ben Affleck I did not know if he was playing a caricature of Affleck or that is just how he acts.

Poolhall Junkies definitely needed more cowbell…I mean Christopher Walken.

Should You Watch This Movie?

It’s a fun movie not to be taken too seriously and anything with Christopher Walken in it I watch at least once.
