10 years have gone by since Sarah Conner was the target of the menacing Terminator. This time around her son John Conner is the target and a much deadlier Terminator is out to kill him. The resistance has managed to reprogram the original Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and have sent him back to save John Conner.
Who is the Audience for This Movie?
Action movie junkies.
What I Liked About This Movie
Terminator 2 is one of those rare cases where the sequel is better then the original. The action was ramped up and the best parts of the original were improved upon. The action scenes range from simple gun fights to jumping semi trucks off of bridges. This variety in the action makes for great entertainment.
The special effects, for better or worse, helped usher in a new era of using CGI in movies. Surprisingly enough the effects still look really good and are used only in places where traditional effects cannot be used. Too bad many newer actions do not follow the same guideline.

You cannot do a review of Terminator 2 without mentioning Arnold Schwarzenegger. Unlike the first movie he is actually given a personality in the sequel and it pays off in spades. The cheesy lines mixed with his accent are hilarious and awesome at the same time. This is the movie role he will always be most remembered for.
What Didn’t Work For Me
I feel the future scenes should have been left out. The future scenes do look cool I just felt they did not add any dimension to the movie and could have easily been cut out to make the movie tighter. They could have made the perfect action movie but there are a few scenes that slow down the movie a little too much. The flashback scenes were also kind of out of place and unnecessary.
Should You Watch This Movie?
This movie is flawed but it is still an action classic.
