A machine called The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is sent back in time to kill Sarah Conner, the mother of John Conner, the man who will be the downfall of the machines dominance in the future. But fortunately the rebel human forces send back someone to protect her from the Terminator.

What I Liked About This Movie
The Terminator was the catalyst for the rise to stardom for Arnold Schwarzenegger and rightfully so. Arnold’s physique and facial expressions fit perfectly with the Terminators ultimate killing machine characterization. As a viewer you almost cheer for him because he is so bad ass.
The Storyline for this movie is very interesting and unique. The Terminator does what every action movie should; move along at a swift pace. This can be accredited to its great action sequences.
What Didn’t Work For Me
I felt the scenes of the future were not necessary. Would have preferred not knowing what the future looks like and having to picture based what Sarah Conner’s protector says about it. The Terminator felt underused and did not benefit well from the lack of dialogue. The synthesizer music used in the action scenes is not tension building and compared to music in today’s action movies comes off almost laughable.
Should You Watch This Movie?
This movie has some great action and is entertaining, I would watch it.
