What I Liked About This Movie

The movie was originally created for Imax screens which means that it is guaranteed to be shot very well. Footage used ranges from aerial space views of earth to animal life giving your eyes a nice variety of visuals and a few moments that are quite stunning.

What Didn’t Work For Me

Aside from nice visuals Blue Planet has nothing going for it. When watching a movie with a constant voice over the tone of the narrator’s voice should be strong enough to carry what is essentially a dialogue free adventure. The narrator for Blue Planet has an irritatingly boring voice which was almost putting me to sleep.

I actually really like these types of movies but Blue Planet was too preachy and dryly presented to keep my interest in the topic being explored.

Should You Watch This Movie?

Nope.
