Who is the Audience for This Movie?

Fans of war movies.

What I Liked About This Movie

Defiance really earns the genre title of Drama.

Defiance Photo

This movie is so incredibly tense throughout and always has new dramatic elements popping up to keep it interesting. So many of the characters are engaging that you really sympathize for what they are (and had to) go through. Not once did I feel that I feel that it used cheap dramatic tricks. Defiance is not your average war movie it does contain some exciting shoot-outs but it is more about people then anything else. Even more incredible is the fact that this movie is actually based off of a true story.

What Didn’t Work For Me

Near the end of the movie two interesting characters are quickly killed off instead of getting a proper send off.

Should You Watch This Movie?

Definitely.
