Who is the Audience for This Movie?

Fans of Horror Comedies.

What I Liked About This Movie

I watched Drag Me to Hell on Halloween while handing out candy with a few friends I couldn’t have picked a better time to watch it. Right off the bat I should admit that I LOVE the Evil Dead movies (same director) and I was eagerly waiting to watch Drag Me to Hell.

At first I was disappointed with the direction the movie was going but as soon as the crazy scares/humor starts the movie becomes a crowd pleaser. The mix of gasps and laughter lends itself well to viewing it with A few people. At numerous points you will probably think they will not be able to top what you just saw but as the movie rolls along it manages to keep one upping itself. As soon as you think you got a handle on the direction its going it changes rapidly. Anytime a movie leaves me surprised it really sticks out in my mind as a movie I should watch at least two or three times.

What Didn’t Work For Me

Drag me to Hell is a wild ride that ends in a painfully obvious way. After it was over I felt a little cheated by the ending.

Should You Watch This Movie?

Definitely.
