What I Liked About This Movie
The father of the main character is one of the neatest designed characters I have seen in a long time; having the character voiced by James Caan was just a bonus. I fully realize that this movie was not in any way targeted towards me I did however find it amusing at times and the visuals are very strong.
What Didn’t Work For Me
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs suffers from what I like to call “Spongebob Squarepants” syndrome.
Most of the story elements intentionally move as fast as possible, jokes fly by too fast and are jammed in whenever possible, everything is as loud as it can be, and at times it really doesn’t make sense. I loved cartoons as a kid and still do but I feel sorry kids who have to watch ADHD crap like this. There was no care put into the storytelling.

Not unless your under the age of 12.
