Who is the Audience for This Movie?

Fans of martial arts movies.

What I Liked About This Movie

When there is action on screen Ong Bak 2 is unbelievable.

Ong Bak 2: The Beginning Photo

From a visual standpoint it is stunningly framed and the sets used are highly detailed. The cinematography may be very busy but the action is always easily to follow. Many of the crazier moves done by Tony Jaa are in slow motion to give you a better grasp on the difficulty of his choreography. Jaa has managed to once again one up himself with the stunts and martial arts on display there were a bunch of time I rewound a scene just to see a move again.

What Didn’t Work For Me

Just like Jaa’s last two movies the story is very bland. It’s an improvement over his previous movies but it’s easy to guess all the motions it’s going to go through and everything in it has been done to death in numerous martial arts movies.

Should You Watch This Movie?

You should, just make sure you watch it with a few people.
