What I Liked About This Movie
When I heard there was a sequel to District B13 I was happy I liked franticly paced action scenes in the first one and I think the two leads were the perfect testosterone fueled action duo. Thankfully in the sequel both of those aspects are totally untouched.
This time around it looks like the budget was a little higher so it looks prettier and aims to be bigger and badder then the original. It has more variety then the original but in the end it feels like more of the same with new plot details. I still really like the setting so I wasn’t totally disappointed.
What Didn’t Work For Me
The originals opening sequence is by far one of the best action openers I have ever seen. I was really hoping the second movie would try to outdo it but it seems like they didn’t even try to. Ultimatum isn’t much of a thinking mans movie so the story really isn’t that important I just wish they would have made it slightly more focused instead of throwing in as many plot changes as possible.
