What I Liked About This Movie

I LOVE when a horror movie just slaps you in the face right out the gate.

When a director can jump the movie into gear incredibly quick without sacrificing anything it is admirable. To make up for the fact that it gains momentum so quick information as to what is going on is given in pieces throughout the movie making it more engaging then out right explaining everything. For the most part it felt like the people creating the movie were huge horror fans and had a few ideas they hadn’t yet seen in other horror movies. Above all that though I was amazed at how fast the movie seems to move its over before you know it.

What Didn’t Work For Me

Two big issues dampen the experience. The first issue bugged me a lot after some really interesting scenes you are treated (not in a good way) to the same horror setups that have been used countless times it waters down the experience quite a bit. My second issue was the movies ending it makes very little sense and is way too over the top given everything that happens before it.

Should You Watch This Movie?

I really didn’t expect much so I guess it succeeded in winning me over.
