What I Liked About This Movie

Contagion could have easily been an incredibly boring movie based solely on its writing and structure. Thankfully through editing and stunning cinematography Steven Soderbergh elevated the movies procedural nature into a very interestingly fast paced drama.

I watched this movie with my mom who is terrible at following complex movies and I need to commend the director again because she not only enjoyed the movie she was able to follow the multiple story-lines that are packed with a lot of characters (mostly played by big name stars) and its ending wraps up the always present mystery that kicks off the movies plot nicely.

What Didn’t Work For Me

Contagion wraps up all its loose ends neatly and left me with the feeling that it is a movie that not only will I never watch again but I wont even ponder it if it comes up in a conversation. I am not saying I didn’t enjoy the movie its just not a movie I will ever watch again.

Should You Watch This Movie?

Only if you are not a germophobe because if you are you will REALLY find this movie unsettling.
